Though George (Jason Alexander) had moments of romantic and/or sexual interest in Elaine, Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) never reciprocated those feelings toward George. Interestingly, Jason Alexander and Julia Louis-Dreyfus played husband and wife in the Elijah Wood film, North (1994), and in the sitcom, The New Adventures of Old Christine (2006), Dreyfus' Christine "agrees" to go on a date with her gynecologist, after mistaking his professionalism for flirtation. The gynecologist is played by Jason Alexander.
