14 years before the series first aired on American television, Thomas Dekker had a small role as one of Captain Jean-Luc Picard's children in Generazioni (1994). In the sequel Primo contatto (1996) Captain Picard and the Enterprise crew travel back in time to Post World War III April 4th 2063 as they set out to stop the evil cyborg creatures The Borg from preventing alcoholic rocket scientist Zefram Cochrane from piloting his warp ship and making first contact with extra terrestrials which will alter the timeline and prevent the formation of the United Federation of Planets.
