Only film in the franchise where Max's Pursuit Special (later named in the sequels as the "Last of the V8 Interceptors.") survives to the end of the film. The car is destroyed in Interceptor - Il guerriero della strada (1981), when the Toadie tries to take the car's gas, and then crashes twice in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). The Interceptor does not appear in Mad Max - Oltre la sfera del tuono (1985).
