The score to this film was composed by Vivian Kubrick (under the pseudonym Abigail Mead) using the Fairight CMI III (which was released in 1985) and the Fairlight CMI Series 1 (released in 1979). The Fairlight, a synthesizer and sampler, was used according to Kubrick, "to avoid any prior musical associations that conventional orchestra instruments might bring."
