Robin Williams's two monologues spoken to Orkan; where he essentially gives a narrative introducing the plot of the episodes; in Happy Days: My Favorite Orkan (1978) & Happy Days: Mork Returns (1979) were improvised. As a matter of fact; much of Williams's dialogue throughout the series Mork and Mindy was improvised. Gary Marshall knew he had the world's greatest comedic improviser on his hands; and he used that to his advantage.
