With the evolution of May's Bulbasaur into a Venusaur, the entire set of fully evolved Kanto starter Pokemon are now owned by members of the main cast: May owns Venusaur, Ash, Alain, Kiawe and Trevor own Charizard, and Gary, and Tierno own Blastoise. Similarly, Ash, Paul and Barry each own one of the fully evolved Sinnoh Starters: Ash and Paul both have a Torterra, Ash has Infernape, and Barry has Empoleon.
