Coincidentally, for most of her life as a child, raised by her show-business parents Maureen O'Sullivan and John Farrow, and then through most of her own adult- and parenthood, Mia Farrow lived in The Langham apartment building, right across the street from Manhattan's legendary Dakota facing Central Park, used here as the exterior site and exemplar of the film's "Bamford." And during the years when Farrow was involved with Woody Allen, her longtime apartment was used as the location for many scenes on Allen's Hannah e le sue sorelle (1986).
