Kurt Paul plays the recurring character of Norman Blates, which is a reference to Norman Bates, played by Anthony Perkins in Psyco (1960). Paul was Perkins' stunt double in Psycho II (1983) and Psycho III (1986), and also appeared in Psycho IV (1990). He also played the role of Norman Bates in Il motel della paura (1987).
