Joey McIntyre, who plays Peter Mullins, is in the 80's boy band New Kids on the Block with singer and now-actor Donnie Wahlberg. Melissa McCarthy is the first cousin of actress/comedienne Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, who married Donnie Wahlberg in 2014, a year after the release of this film.
