At the bar in the Hotel Caravelle where Russell Crowe first appears, the bar is eerily similar to the floor plan layout of the Hotel Caravelle bar as it is in 2022. The main bar is placed in the same location within the floor-space, and the area is roughly the same in square footage. Also of note are the windows, which are wooden slates, exactly the way they are at the bar. In 2022, if you looked two windows to the left of Russell Crowe's shoulder, you would have a direct view downward to the Saigon Opera House, and the Hotel Continental.
