New York footage shows the Pan Am Worldport, a unique circular terminal with a "flying saucer" roof to cover the planes as they arrived at the terminal. It was constructed in 1960, and when the show aired, some of the distinctive interior furnishings reproduced for the show-such as the staircases-were still intact. In 2013, a year after production ended, the terminal was demolished. It was in use by Pan Am and later Delta for exactly 53 years to the day.
