Adam Rutherford, scientific advisor for a number of movies, was employed to decorate Professor Arnold's blackboard by making it look "super science-y". Adam drew graphs relevant to climate change taken from academic journals, but director Matthew Vaughn ordered him to make it "more science-y". Adam began adding loads of scientific Easter eggs which still weren't enough, until he found out that the professor would be played by Mark Hamill - so he decided to add some Star Wars eggs, of which Adam's favorite is a "Goldilocks Zone" diagram where the planets not too close nor too far from the sun comprise Earth, Mars, Venus, Tatooine, Hoth, and Dagobah.
