This movie has no ACTUAL references to Pitch Perfect, Jeanie and Eric's clap skit before kissing (refering to Beca's "Cups" song), and Tatiana, Alice, Dave and Mike singing "This is How We Do It" (the song came up as one of the songs in the Laser Ninja Dragon League in Pitch Perfect 2). Adam DeVine (Mike) and Anna Kendrick (Alice) both starred in Pitch Perfect movies.
