In Star Wars Phantom Menace Natalie Portman, as Queen Amidala, is 8 years older than Jake Lloyd who plays Anakin. In this film Anakin is played by Hayden Christensen who is 2 months older than Natalie. As this is visually very obvious, and entirely unaccounted for in the story, the characters have to constantly reinforce the notion of an age gap. As examples, Amidala says "you'll always be that little boy I knew on Tatooine" and Obi Wan says "my very, very young apprentice".
