Several scenes, including the pivotal "That's How You Know" musical number, take place in New York's Central Park. In 2012, Amy Adams was a star of Shakespeare in the Park's production of Stephen Sondheim's musical "Into the Woods" at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. "Into the Woods", which was first produced twenty years before this movie was released, is also an irreverent retelling of classic fairy tales.
