Because of a contract dispute over director Marc Webb, Sony (Columbia) agreed to place a mid-credits teaser for this Twentieth Century Fox movie into Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - Il potere di Electro (2014). The scene, which was not included in the video release of that movie, is unusual for a mid-credits teaser, in that it is actual footage from the movie it is promoting (the scene in Vietnam with Stryker and Mystique).
