Wallace is foreshadowed as the Were-Rabbit several times: *Early on, when the Mind Manipulation-O-Matic begins to go wrong, Wallace hops like a rabbit. *The morning after the first Were-Rabbit rampage, Gromit looks into the kitchen and sees the fridge door open and the cheese dish left on the floor, with bits of half-eaten cheese around it. *The first time Gromit encounters the Were-Rabbit and gives chase just so happens to be minutes after Wallace mysteriously disappears to retrieve one of the traps they intend to catch it with, and the previously-clouded moon becomes visible.
