Which of the two killers was active each scene and/or committed which murders in the film can be figured out if paying close attention and keeping track of where Billy and Stu are in the given scene: Maureen Prescott - Both Billy and Stu killed her, but it's not known if they wore the Ghostface costume when they did.Steven Orth - Stu killed him, as he was hiding in the backyard while Billy was out front, calling Casey and harassing her.Casey Becker - The fact that Casey recognized Stu upon unmasking him, and it's later confirmed that Stu and Casey used to date, confirms it was him who killed her. Billy helped him gut her and hang her corpse, as the action would require too much time for one person.Sidney's House Attack - Stu attacked Sidney in costume, while Billy was calling her, as confirmed by Billy having the phone on him.Call at the Riley House - Stu called Sidney to clear Billy's name and take suspicion off of him.Sidney's Bathroom Attack - It was Billy, as this Ghostface wore the same pants color as him. He also repeated back what those girls were saying about Sidney's mother to her, indicating that he overheard them.Arthur Himbry - He was killed by Billy Loomis, as he was out stalking Sidney and Tatum when the murder happened, and Stu was with them at the time before he wandered off.Tatum Riley - Her killer was unknown initially, as both Billy and Stu were unaccounted for at the time and it could have been either of them. Skeet Ulrich confirmed that it was Billy though, which makes sense when you remember that he was not invited to Stu's party initially. He'd also have more of a reason to kill her, as he overheard all of the nasty comments Tatum made about him while stalking her and Sidney.Kenny - Stu killed him, as he had pretended to kill Billy and then pursued Sidney to the news van.Dewey's Attack - Billy stabbed him, as he was inside the house at the time when Dewey entered, then he chases Sidney. Stu was checking to see if Gale was dead and was around that area where she crashed, not the house, which is why Randy was accusing Stu of being the killer because he was stalking him since he was already outside when Gale hit him with a phone.
