According to the makers, Touchstone Television (owned by Disney) was constantly pressuring them into making budget cuts, which they couldn't accommodate due to the high demands of combining live action with puppet animation. Disney finally pulled the plug in the fourth season, citing that the show had become too expensive. The fourth season episode Dinosauri: Variations on a Theme Park (1994), in which the Wesayso Corporation suffers fatalities due to overworked employees, and subsequently forces them to relax in the company's own amusement park Wesaysoland, is widely taken to be targeted at Disney and Disneyworld. Not surprisingly, Touchstone originally did not air the episode, but it was later broadcast in syndication.
