David Banner is said to be both a physician and scientist in the narration during the opening credits. This TV series establishes Banner as being a M.D. with a PhD. in nuclear physics. However, the comic books and Marvel Cinematic Universe films only establishes Banner as being a genius physicist, with no mention of him being a trained medical doctor.
