The show had a spin-off comic based on the hit animated series called "Superman Adventures". This comic usurped all previous appearances by Superman in "Batman Adventures" making them non-cannon since they just took what was going on in the mainstream DC comics and adapted it to the animated based comics. "Superman Adventures" ran for 66 issues between 1996 and 2002.
