The garbage truck driver seen at the beginning and end of the movie is Sid Phillips from the first Toy Story - Il mondo dei giocattoli (1995) movie; you can tell because he is wearing the same skull t-shirt. Sid's actor Erik von Detten even reprised his role for this movie.
