Six of the film's cast members have appeared in Marvel films: Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, and Corey Stoll have all appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Weisz as Melina Vostokoff, Norton as Bruce Banner/Hulk before Mark Ruffalo took over the role, and Stoll as Darren Cross/Yellowjacket. Meanwhile Donna Murphy and Oscar Isaac appeared in films outside the MCU, as Rosalie Octavius in Spider-Man 2 (2004), and En Sabah Nur in X-Men: Apocalisse (2016).
