In the film when Stan and Ollie arrive in Ireland to big cheering crowds, the surrounding church bells all chimed in time to play the Laurel and Hardy theme tune - the Dance of the Cuckoos song. This actually happened in real life, and Stan Laurel later recalled that this brought both him and Oliver Hardy to tears.
