Perhaps surprisingly for a Universal Television series, nearly all of the exterior streets appear to use the Paramount Pictures studio backlot, apart from the real world Brooklyn Nine-Nine station, and certain other locations. The same very clean Brownstones, are re-used, and the building facade created for "The Bronx Zoo" is often visible in the background of shots throughout the entire run.
