Just before Princess Mia's bachelorette slumber party Lily refers to Mia's lady's maids as Lenny and Squiggy. Lenny and Squiggy were two characters from the popular comedy series Laverne & Shirley, starring director Gary Marshall's sister Penny Marshall.
