During the shoot out in the bar, Cheech Marin's character is rarely seen. This is because they could only afford him for six days, and including him in the entire sequence would have taken longer. To circumvent this, they had Marin duck behind the bar as the sequence begins, then approximated what the aftermath would look like in the end, and filmed his remaining scenes around it.
