In order to avoid imitating the celebrity cameos often heard in I Simpson (1989), Trey Parker and Matt Stone only allowed guest stars on the show if they agreed to voice animals (such as George Clooney voicing Stan's dog). They made exceptions for Jennifer Aniston, who voiced Miss Stevens in Rainforest Shmainforest, and for Natasha Henstridge, who voiced Miss Ellen in South Park: Tom's Rhinoplasty (1998), since they had a crush on her since seeing her in Specie mortale (1995).
