Despite all their efforts, the attempt to film Jean Jacket was ultimately unsuccessful. After Angel (Brandon Perea) narrowly escapes from the creature due to being wrapped in a plastic tarp, the viewfinder of the IMAX camera lands next to him, the camera clearly destroyed, and the box containing the earlier shot footage lands on the ground behind him, its contents rolling down the hill behind him, ruining it.
