In the fall of 1970, it was reported that Hank Williams Jr. had been signed by producer Bruce Geller for a featured role in the film. Williams was also to sing a number of original country-western songs which he and his group had written for the film and which would be featured in the soundtrack album. However, neither Williams nor any of his music appears in the released film.
