In a Q&A session, the Russo Brothers confirmed that Peter's Aunt May and Howard the Duck were unaffected by Thanos' finger snap. However, this was later changed, as in Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019), Aunt May says she was also erased by the Snap and describes her reaction after being returned in Avengers: Endgame (2019).
