The ending of the sitcom was called online 'One of the worst endings of a television show" which pianos drop on top of Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre. According to Chuck Lorre, the idea was that Charlie Sheen walks to the door and rings the door and that he would turn and look at the camera and rant about the dangers of drug abuse and then a piano would drop on him. Charlie Sheen was offered to do the scene but he didn't like the idea and refused to do it and a double was used.
