Charles Robinson has the rare distinction of starring on one show, in a regular timeslot, one television season, and then on a different show, in the same timeslot, the next season. He co-starred with Dabney Coleman in Buffalo Bill (1983), which aired Thursdays at 9:30 PM, EST during the 1983-84 television season. When that show was cancelled after one season, Robinson joined Night Court for its second season, which NBC moved into the Thursday 9:30 PM, EST timeslot for the 1984-85 season.
