Alexander Siddig is the nephew of actor Malcolm McDowell, who appeared in Generazioni (1994). Another uncle and nephew appeared in the Star Wars series: Denis Lawson is the uncle of Ewan McGregor, who played the young Obi-Wan Kenobi. Siddig and McGregor have something else in common: Siddig appeared in A Dangerous Man: Lawrence After Arabia (1992) as Prince Fisal, a character who, like Obi-Wan Kenobi, was previously played by Sir Alec Guinness.
