The ramshackle, jungle shack is actually situated inside the farm estate of deposed former President Joseph Estrada, called JE Farms. It was a dilapidated, mini-rest-siesta hut that Production Designer Fritz Silorio meticulously refurbished and reinforced to accommodate the considerable weight of the camera equipment and crew.
