The Urban Legend discussed at Dawson's Beach by Ray, Julie, Helen and Barry is the The Boyfriend's Death story and all four of their versions are alternate incarnations of the tale. The initial being the Hook In The Car Door campfire story which did not feature the death of either the Boyfriend or Girlfriend.
