(at around 13 mins) During the virtual reality scene at M.I.T., Maria Stark (Hope Davis) plays the piano and sings the song "Try To Remember," from the 1960 musical The Fantasticks. This song's lyrics link nostalgia for the month of September, with the singer's lost youth: "Try to remember the kind of September / When life was slow and oh, so mellow / Try to remember the kind of September / When grass was green and grain was yellow / Try to remember the kind of September / When you were a young and callow fellow..." After Maria finishes singing, and the virtual reality presentation is done, Tony (Robert Downey Jr.) announces to the M.I.T. students, that he has given them grants for all of their research projects under the auspices of his new foundation, the "September Foundation."
