In neither this film or its predecessor do we ever see Michael Myers driving a car. Rob Zombie omitted this element from his Halloween films because he found the idea of Michael being able to drive silly and far-fetched. The novelization of the original film explained that Michael learned how to drive by simply watching Dr. Loomis operate his car as he drove him around. BUT Micheal does drive in the original films. Most notably in the original Halloween as his means of escaping the institution and driving himself to and through Haddenfield in numerous shots.
