Kim Basinger co-starred in Da qui all'eternità (1979) with Natalie Wood the same year Sean Connery worked with Wood in Meteor (1979). They'd both been to Wood's house for dinner on separate occasions, and Sean even yachted with her once. Wood had only been dead 10 months when this movie went into production, so Sean and Kim likely talked about her. For whatever reason, neither has participated in any of the Wood-related documentaries that have been put out over the years.
