Techno Cosmic Research Institute (T.C.R.I.), the scientific corporation/organization, is used first time outside the comics. When the company was adapted for Tartarughe Ninja II - Il segreto di Ooze (1991) the name was changed to Techno Global Research Industries (T.G.R.I) and didn't feature the Utroms.
