The white 1958 Chevy Impala - Steve Bolander's car - sat at the movie studio for some time after the film was completed. It was sold through a newspaper listing to a young man in his late teens or very early 20's for a few hundred dollars. He kept the car for many years, very little changed from how it appears in the movie.
