After discovering the rooms full of Black Liquid jars and the giant head, Elizabeth Shaw notices that the murals in the room are changing because they have somehow affected the environment inside the chamber. Almost immediately, it cuts to show the silica storm starting to stir, implying that the storm was an old booby trap to prevent any enemies of the Engineers from stealing their weaponry secrets.
