The second season's Viaggio in fondo al mare: The Sky's on Fire (1966) was a remake of the basic story line of the original Viaggio in fondo al mare (1961) utilizing considerable film color footage, though several film sequences were removed and had been featured in other first-season episodes such as Viaggio in fondo al mare: The Village of Guilt (1964) and Viaggio in fondo al mare: Submarine Sunk Here (1964).
