After already capturing footage of the creature, Antlers calls the light "magic" and leaves the safety of his tent to film the creature with his handheld camera. By "magic" he means the "magic hour" (sometimes referred interchangeably with the similar "golden hour") that occurs before a sunset or just after a sunrise. The lighting conditions are ideal--there are no cast shadows and the colors captured are warm. For an artist like Antlers capturing an "impossible" shot of the creature under these conditions would have been worth risking his life.
