The opening title sequence featuring Django and the other slaves being lead through rocky terrain is the same location (Alabama Hills, Lone Pine, California) used as the setting for 'The Tall T' (1957). The bold red font used in the Django Unchained titles also matches the font used in 'The Tall T' opening.
