In the New 52 storyline in which Black Adam's revival is based on (Justice League of America Issue 7.4: Black Adam), Amon Tomaz was not Adrianna's son, but instead her brother who was killed while utilizing the spell to resurrect Black Adam, which Adrianna would instead finish the spell for him.
