In December 2021, three years after Netflix canceled the show, Marvel Studios chairman Kevin Feige confirmed that Charlie Cox will be reprising his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the MCU projects produced by Marvel Studios, but his MCU debut "still remains to be seen [sic]". Also, Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk/Kingpin from the Netflix show was seemingly teased in the third episode (and later fully revealed in the season finale) of the MCU TV series Hawkeye (2021). Cox was also seen as Matt Murdock in the film Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), where he works as Peter Parker's lawyer.
