After landing on Sakaar, Thor is strapped to a chair and goes on a psychedelic ride through a tunnel which "introduces" him to Sakaar. During his chair-ride, you can hear the song "Pure Imagination" from the original "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" soundtrack playing. This is a direct reference to the psychedelic boat ride Willy Wonka took his visitors on during the movie.
