In "Waiting for a Miracle" Mirabel sings of being at a breaking point just as Casita and the magic are reaching theirs. She eventually gets almost exactly all she asks for in the song. A change, a chance, healing of the broken, setting off new growths (in this case by inspiring Isabella), and so on. Even her request to be told where to go is granted: Dolores sends her to Luisa who directs her to Bruno's tower, which leads to Bruno guiding her next steps, etc. Her "miracle" begins precisely when she finishes vocalizing longing for those things.
