The seventh film in the official franchise to feature S.P.E.C.T.R.E. The first six were Agente 007 - Licenza di uccidere (1962), A 007, dalla Russia con amore (1963), Agente 007 - Thunderball: operazione tuono (1965), Agente 007 - Si vive solo due volte (1967), Agente 007 - Al servizio segreto di Sua Maestà (1969), and Agente 007 - Una cascata di diamanti (1971), with Agente 007 - Missione Goldfinger (1964) being the only one of the first James Bond movies not to feature S.P.E.C.T.R.E. This is the eighth Bond movie overall, if one also counts the unofficial Mai dire mai (1983).
